A survey on the perceptions of music composed or performed by Singaporeans (SG Music) among music listeners in Singapore in 2019 found that 61 percent of respondents were proud of Singaporean musicians and their music. In comparison, 32 percent of respondents stated they were aware of new SG Music released within the past two years.
