Companies expectations for government intervention during COVID-19 in Africa 2020
Based on an online survey carried out between June and July 2020, 21 percent of the African businesses that took part in the study reported that they wish the government provided working capital to firms during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Moreover, also 21 percent of the companies claimed they would like to have tax payments postponed, while 20 percent wished access to low interest loans.
