Number of orienteering tracks in Japan 1996-2021
In the fiscal year 2021, there were 52 orienteering courses throughout Japan. The figures declined during the past two decades, reaching their lowest point during the surveyed period in 2021. Japan's mountainous geographical features provide ample opportunities for playing (and getting lost) in the nature.
