Main challenges faced by companies during COVID-19 in Southern Africa 2020
Based on a study carried out between June and July 2020, 65 percent of the Southern African businesses that took part in the survey faced a drop in the demand for products or services they provide. Moreover, 63 percent of the companies reported that opportunities to meet new customers have been reduced during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Furthermore, the lack of operational cash flow embodied a challenge for 40 percent of the respondents.
