Prevalence of AT usage and need of ATdevices in India 2019
A 2019 survey conducted in India revealed that just under 20 percent of respondents received help from assistive technology (AT). Among users of these AT devices, respectively around 17 percent reported having problems with AT and needing more AT devices. Meanwhile, approximately nine percent of respondents needed assistance from AT but did not use any AT devices.
