According to a survey conducted in March 2021 in the United States, most Americans lack confidence concerning their financial resources to pay for ongoing living assistance. At that time, 44 percent of respondents had somewhat confidence and 38 percent even less assurance as to being able to pay for future care.

2018 data was sampled from March 13 to April 5, 2018, with 1,945 adults.
