The measures taken by the Italian government to contain the COVID-19 pandemic forced many people to work from home. This radical change of habits brought both positive and negative consequences into people's professional life. According to a recent study, roughly half of the Italian remote workers experienced a loosening of relations with their colleagues and increased performance anxiety as of April 2021. Women seemed to be more affected by work disaffection, boredom, and apathy. Men, on the other hand, were more prone to feel marginalized with respect to business dynamics inside the company.
