The measures taken by the Italian government to contain the COVID-19 pandemic forced many people to work from home. This made the act of working much cozier, but on the other hand many houses were not equipped with an adequate workstation. According to a recent study, 48.3 percent of remote workers in Italy suffered from some kind of physical problem due to lack of comfort in their WFH setup. Data suggest that this condition was more common among young workers of up to 34 years of age and among couples with children.
