The European questionnaire on Information and Communication Technologies Data reveals that there exists a disparity between the internet usage of people according to gender. This disparity although present in most countries, differs widely in its severity.
By 2020, 15 percent of female internet users in Bulgaria used the internet to take part in any form of online learning activities. Among men this share was slightly lower with only 12 percent. Over the last five years, two percent more men and four percent more women indicated that they used the internet for this purpose.
