According to a survey of social commerce users in the Philippines 2020, the most popular payment methods for making purchases on social media platforms was cash on delivery, which was used by 69 percent of consumers. Peer-to-peer payment platforms accounted for 21 percent of social commerce payments while bank transfer was the least preferred payment type.
