Manufacturing concentrated the highest amount of foreign direct investment (FDI) among economic sectors in Tanzania as of 2018. It reached 1.4 billion U.S dollars, distributed in 133 projects. Following, agricultural activities registered an amount of over half billion U.S. dollars in FDI.
