In a survey on subscription video on demand (SVoD) services in Malaysia in 2020, 75 percent of respondents stated that they planned to continue their SVoD subscriptions even after the COVID-19 pandemic. The SVoD market in Malaysia was dominated by both Netflix and local SVoD provider Astra Go.
