Retail purchases: preferred obtaining methods in United States Q2 2021, by age group
In the second quarter of 2021, consumers in the United States mostly preferred getting their retail items in person. This option was especially popular among older shoppers as 68 percent of consumers aged above 55 stated that they preferred getting their retail items in person, whereas almost half of the shoppers aged between 18 and 34 chose this method. Getting their items delivered was more popular among younger consumers compared to older consumers.
