Insurance premiums per capita in Kenya 2016-2020
As of 2020, the insurance density in Kenya was measured at 4,787 Kenyan shillings (KSh), around 42 U.S. dollars. The value of premiums per capita kept stable compared to the previous year and maintained an overall upward trend from 2016 onwards. Insurance density is a ratio of gross direct premium to population. It indicates the level of development of the insurance sector in a country.
