In 2024, the market cap of the listed real estate companies in the United Kingdom (UK) increased, after a period of decline. In the first quarter of 2023, the market shrunk by almost 20 percent. The following year, market cap of the listed real estate sector rose by 13 percent. Nevertheless, the UK retained its position as the second-largest commercial real estate market in Europe after Germany.
