In financial year 2023, there were over 3.4 billion NETC transactions worth about 500 billion Indian rupees across India. The number of transactions was estimated to rise up to over 8.7 billions in financial year 2028 in the country. The National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) system was used at over 1050 toll stations on national highways.
