In 2020, when asked how much capital they plan to invest in private equity in the next 12 months (2021 projection) compared to the previous 12 months, almost half of the institutional investors surveyed expressed increased investment expectations. A total of 45 percent of them stated that would invest more in private equity in the upcoming 12 months than the previous 12, while 39 percent of LPs stated that they planned to keep investment amounts the same.
