According to a survey conducted in December 2020, close to 20 percent of the respondents in Japan stated that they had experienced that their impression of a brand, business, or product worsened due to the content of an online video advertisement. An additional 25.8 percent answered that they sometimes experienced that. At the same time, more than half of the respondents rarely or never experienced such a change in impression.
