Italy: dating apps popularity and awareness 2021
Global market leader Tinder ranked third based on awareness, with 11 percent of respondents indicating they had used the app in the past, and eight percent stating they planned to use it in the future. Grindr and Facebook Dating ranked last, with a 12 percent awareness reach each.
According to a January 2021 survey of online users in Italy, Meetic was identified as the online dating service with the highest brand awareness reach, with 70 percent of responders saying they were familiar with the brand. Almost six in ten people knew dating platform Badoo, and 14 percent of respondents had used the service in the past.
