A survey carried out on the platform economy in India suggested that platform drivers who were paid wages by the platform usually earned somewhere between 50 to 100 Indian rupees per hour in 2019. In comparison to autorickshaw drivers who were able to raise a maximum of 150 Indian rupees an hour, SUV drivers and even some hatchback drivers had maximum hourly earnings that equaled 250 Indian rupees in that year.
