Morocco: competitiveness index score in ICT adoption

Morocco registered an overall index score of 46.2 in ICT adoption in the 2019 global competitiveness index. As a component of ICT, mobile-cellular telephone subscriptions achieved a score of 100, indicating that there are no obstacles to productivity in that regard. On the other hand, fixed-broadband internet subscriptions attained a score of 8.6, ranking it 93rd in the world. Fast fixed-broadband subscription in Morocco is estimated to reach a penetration rate of 34.07 percent in 2021.
