In 2019, the export of plastics and articles thereof from Mauritius amounted to an approximate value of 45 million U.S. dollars. This was a decrease in value in comparison to the preceding year, when roughly 46 million U.S. dollars of the products were exported. Furthermore, Madagascar was the main trade partner of Mauritius in terms of plastic exports with a share of nearly 36.5 percent.
