Share of people uploading self-created content in Ireland 2010-2019, by gender

The European questionnaire on Information and Communication Technologies Data reveals that there exists a disparity between the internet usage of people according to gender. This disparity although present in most countries, differs widely in its severity.
By 2019, 34 percent of male internet users in Ireland used the internet to upload self-created content. Among women this share was even higher and amounted to 40 percent. Over the last few years shares significantly increased among men and women. Since 2010, 21 percent more men and 26 percent more women replied that they uploaded self-created content.
