PayPay's quarterly number of payments Q4 2018-Q2 2024

In the second quarter of fiscal year 2024, over 1.97 billion transactions were conducted via the mobile payment platform PayPay. This represented an increase of 24.5 percent compared to the second quarter of fiscal year 2023.
PayPay enables users to perform financial transactions by scanning a QR code or bar code using a smartphone app.
