PayPay's number of payments FY 2018-2023

In the fiscal year 2023, around 6.4 billion transactions were conducted via mobile payment platform PayPay, up by 23.8 percent compared to the previous year. PayPay enables users to connect their bank account to a smartphone app and perform financial transactions by scanning a QR code or bar code.
