In 2021, 58 percent of respondents indicate using services from the databases category offered via marketplaces by any of the three big hyperscalers, which are Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. In fact, 90 percent of respondents state planning to purchase more products from these marketplaces in the future. Further, they also note that these marketplaces make the hyperscale clouds more favourable as platforms.
