Public opinion on postponing the Tokyo Olympics in the U.S. 2021, by politics

The Summer Olympic Games were scheduled to be held in Tokyo, Japan in 2020, but were postponed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In a 2021 survey in the United States, respondents were asked whether they thought the Tokyo Olympics should be postponed another year. Among U.S. respondents who were affiliated with the Democrat party, 50 percent stated that they thought the Tokyo Olympics should be postponed again.
