As of 2021, most travelers arriving in Morocco by air accessed the territory through the Mohammed V airport, around 1.2 million tourists. Additionally, the airports of Marrakech Ménara and Tanger Ibn Battouta registered large tourist numbers as point of entry, counting approximately 685 thousand and 362 thousand arrivals, respectively. Between 2013 and 2020, Morocco had 62 airports altogether. Overall, the number of visitors arriving in the country considerably decreased between 2019 and 2020.
