According to a survey of LGBTQ working adults in Australia in 2022, less than 40 percent of respondents reported that they were out to everyone in their workplace. Almost 20 percent of respondents reported that they were not out at all. The annual Australian Workplace Equality Index survey is meant to gauge the overall impact of inclusion initiatives on organizational culture in the country.
