French TV channels have been buying less hours of performing arts supported by the Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée in 2019 than in 2018. In fact, they had bought 939 hours in 2018 and 693 in 2019 in total. The France Télévisions group bought the most hours both years, with 239 hours in 2019, followed by the local channels, who had bought 198 hours.
