In June 2021, adults in Great Britain were surveyed on their understanding of the term "staycation." The majority of respondents, 72 percent, thought that a staycation was a holiday spent in one's home country, while 21 percent of respondents thought that a staycation was a holiday spent at one's home. The remaining seven percent of respondents were either unsure or thought that a staycation was something else.
