Number of private clinics in France 2011-2018
Among the health care institutions present in France, there are public institutions as well as private ones. In the space of eight years, the number of private profit-oriented hospitals and clinics experienced a downward trend in France. While France accounted for 1,076 of these institutions in 2011, 1,012 were recorded on the French territory in 2018. In eight years, France lost 64 of these establishments.
