Cinema advertising expenditure in Russia 2014-2021
Advertising spending in Russian cinemas reached approximately 310 million Russian rubles in 2021, marking a slight decrease from the previous year. In 2020, the expenditure fell sharply due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as movie theaters across the country were closed during the lockdown in the spring of 2020 and reopened with limited audience capacities in the summer of that year.
