Among Nigerians intending to migrate for work, males slightly make up the majority. The results of a study published in 2021 show that in Delta, a state in the South of Nigeria, 60 percent of intending migrants were male. In Lagos, instead, the percentages of male and female migrants were almost the same, slightly in favor of men.
