Gender inequality index in Morocco 2011-2021
Morocco achieved a gender inequality score of 0.43 points in the 2021 Gender Inequality Index (GII). From 2019 onwards, the country's index score remained stable. The indicator measures the potential of human development loss resulting from gender achievement disparities based on reproductive health, empowerment, and the labor market. Higher values on a scale from zero to one indicate higher inequalities between women and men.
