Six out of ten millennials in Russia became more optimistic that climate change could be reversed after seeing the environmental changes during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a survey from early 2021. The share of Generation Z holding that view was slightly higher, at 63 percent. At the same time, also a higher portion of Gen Z representatives believed that the population reached the point of no return and that it was too late to repair the damage made to the environment.
