During 2021 Amazon Prime Day, for about half of male consumers who expected to shop during the event, consumer electronics were the most popular category to shop for (at 46 percent). According to the results of a recent survey, the most popular category female consumers were likely to shop for was clothing and accessories, which were selected by 42 percent of respondents.
Amazon Prime Day is a two-day shopping event organized in celebration of the retail giant Amazon's birthday. In 2021, the event will start on June 21.
