According to a survey conducted on consumer perceptions and purchases in India during 2018, around half of the respondents stated that price of air conditioners played a vital role in their purchase decision in advance. Whereas, only about 32 percent of the household respondents stated that the aesthetics and design of the air conditioners were important before the purchase in that time period.
