As of July 2022, Brazil had the highest number of app downloads of Uber Eats in Latin America. Up to that date, the on-demand delivery app had accumulated more than 39 million downloads in the South American country. Mexico followed, with more than 29 million downloads. However, the U.S. company has been losing dominance in the region, withdrawing its offer from Uruguay, Argentina, and Colombia throughout 2020, and most recently, in 2022, from no less than Brazil.
