On a scale from 0 to 100, Optus customers with a 5G enabled device had a video quality of 68.1. Telstra and Vodafone customer's 5G video qualities were only slightly lower.
Quality of 5G video experienced in Australia as of October 2023, by operator
The 5G video quality metric was calculated by directly measuring video streams from end-user devices, using an ITU-based approach to quantify factors such as load times, stalling and video resolution over an operator's 5G networks. 5G Video Video quality for each operator is calculated on a scale from 0 to 100.
