A survey run in June 2020 showed that more than nine out of ten Amazon consumers in the UK, United States, and Canada wished for a higher rate of plastic being recycled. In fact, as many as 87 percent of respondents thought Amazon, as well as other major online retailers, need to do something about the issue. For 76 percent of Amazon Prime members, plastic-free packaging options would be an alternative they would turn to.
