Share of people in Spain searching for jobs online, by age group in 2023

In 2023, 37 percent of internet users in Spain between 25 and 34 responded that they used the internet to search or apply for jobs, four percentage points less than the same age group in 2015. During this period of time, users older than 55 have become more likely to search or apply for jobs online, from only a 5 percent in 2015 to an 8 percent in 2023.

The European questionnaire on Information and Communication Technologies Data reveals that there exists a disparity between the internet usage of people of different age groups. This disparity although present in most countries, differs widely in its severity.
