Import value of electrical machinery and equipment into Zambia 2015-2019

In 2019, the import of electric machinery and equipment into Zambia amounted to an approximate value of 440 million U.S. dollars. This was a decrease in value in comparison to the preceding year, when roughly 590 million U.S. dollars of the items were imported. Furthermore, South Africa was one of the main trade partners of Zambia in terms of electrical machinery and equipment imports with a share of nearly 45 percent.
