Planting area of TCM medicinal plants in China 2013-2020
Agriculture of medicinal herbs and plants for traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has been steadily growing in China. By the end of 2020, the planting size was projected to reach about 66.2 million acres. TCM agriculture is currently concentrated in some Chinese provinces like Jilin, Liaoning, Hebei, Guangxi, and Guangdong.
