Number of traded companies in the Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) 2016-2022
In 2022, the number of traded companies in the Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) was 218, and this represented a drop of two companies from the preceding year. Within the reviewed period, the number of traded companies in the EGX was at its lowest in 2016, with 209 companies, while it peaked at 220 companies in 2019. Moreover, the number of listed companies in EGX reached 218 in 2022.
