Number of listed companies in the Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) 2016-2022
The number of listed companies in the Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) was 218 in 2022, and this was the same as the preceding year. From 2016 onwards, the number of listed companies in the EGX dropped from 222 companies to the trough in 2020, then increased again by three companies. Moreover, the number of traded companies in EGX reached 218 in 2022.
