According to a survey conducted on how people are coping with the skyrocketing prices of petrol and diesel in the last 12 months in India as of February 2021, 89 percent of citizens want the governent to reverse the COVID-19 related excise duty introduced in May 2020 at least in part, with 59 percent wanting a complete reversal of the hike.
