Share of time spent on smartphones India Aug 2020, by activity
As per a survey conducted in August 2020, smartphone users in India spent a majority of time during the COVID-19 pandemic, that is 20 percent of the overall time spent on their smartphones, on chatting or Voice over Internet Protocol services. Meanwhile, video streaming accounted for 15 percent of the time spent. On average, Indian smartphone users spent a little over three hours on their phones per day during that period.
