Global cloud workload increase in organizations 2021, by industry

By 2021, 83 percent of organizations belonging to the chemical manufacturing industry and government increased their cloud workloads. This uptick is likely due to operations conducted in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Notably, cloud workloads increased across all industries except for energy, which experienced cuts in production during the pandemic.
