Among the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the annual mean concentration of inhalable particles PM10 and smaller (excluding PM2.5) was the highest in urban areas of Croatia (30.9 μg/m3) and Bulgaria (30.4 μg/m3). On the other hand, the lowest concentration was recorded in Estonia at 10.8 μg/m3 in 2019.
